Kira Anderson

I graduated in June 2008 from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Communication and Culture with a minor in Art and Art History. I am currently completing my Bachelor of Education at Ambrose University which I will finish in April 2015.

I have completed two practicums in Airdrie; one with grade three and the other with grade one. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with younger students and have developed a number of professional relationships with other teachers. I am currently trying to set-up an internship opportunity with junior high students in various fine arts and technology courses for May 2015.

I have experience working with children and young adults with disabilities. I completed two practicums at University of Calgary; one working with high school students and one working with youth participating in therapeutic riding. I also provided respite care for a little boy with Autism in Airdrie for approximately one year.
